WOW WOW WOW My 3 year old soon to be a 4 year old, had another major tantrum this morning. No is becoming his only response to anything. In all honesty 4 was the absolute worst year we had with Alexis as well. It was a sucky sucky year. Full of screaming, tantrums, rebellion, the works, then she seemed to major some and it gradually fell into the odd one. (Which we still get). With him at 32 pounds now, it is not an option just to pick him up and carry him, and I am not supposed to be lifting stuff anyway. * Dr. E. called on Monday and left a message at my home number on the answering machine that she had to talk to me about the MRI. Well results were not even supposed to be in for 10 days and she was calling me in seven. So not good news. I did not manage to talk to her until last night. And as I said so not good news. We packed up in the downpour and went down to Mom's to see what would happen with the parade. Well it started almost an hour late, no bands showed up, but it was nice and clearing. My MRI is done. I managed to get through it. It is LOST all over again. The mechanical magnetical the sounds the oh god it was awful. After they let me out of the coffin, I sat up and promptly puked in the garbage can. Not a nice thing. I couldn't be drugged today for it, as I had to drive. Thursday is Alexis B-day, Bon Jovi concert in Edmonton, and now Austin gets an invite to a b-day party for that same night. What is up with the forces of evolution and the 12th.

This man makes my life complete. He makes me laugh, and he loves me, and accepts me. Even with the occasional fight he is always there. I dyed my hair on Saturday. It was supposed to turn light brown and get rid of the grey. Now I have red hair. OH my. I was trying to work on action shots. I think I got one that isn't blurry but I missed half her body. But cropping this should turn out fun. He was eating watermelon and had all over his face and chest. He was sitting on my knee so I was a little too close, but love the photo even if it is a little out of focus. Canada Flag flying high on Canada Day. We lost 6 of our soldiers yesterday in Afganistan in a road side bomb. My prayers go out to our forces and families.

On July 1st Canada celebrated being 140 years old. Young in the eyes of many nations. SInce it fell on a Sunday most businesses were closed on Monday so we had a long weekend. Due to DH broken wrist he did not have to work. For the 8 years he has worked at his job, he always works Monday to Friday no matter what, so we have NEVER in the last eight years had a long weekend together. So this being a first was very special. Saturday DD had a birthday party to go to and Grandma took Austin for a little while. So DH and I had some serious adult time together. What do two consenting adults do when they have three hours alone with each other? I think you can guess. Picked DD up in the vette and went cruising.
