Our local neighborhood Haunted Garage is a draw for the entire city.

I miss the time when the kids really enjoyed carving pumkins. Austin wanted Espeon from Pokemon long before Pokemon Go was thought of. Alexis did an EKG heart on hers.

I may not have been born here, or grown up here, but living here the last twenty years has made it my hometown.

Our one fall day. blink and you miss it. the cold front moved in within hours and all the leaves were blown off the trees.

As I sit here not enjoying the falling snow today I looked back to what it was like last year on this date. Beautiful but windy fall day.

We used to have a apple tree in the backyard. It was always interesting to find ways to use all the apples while they were fresh. This was a family favourite. I miss that tree.

Taking Pooh Bear to the Mayo Hospital made me a little unsure. What if he got lost? He was 18 years old. She would be heartbroken. However the identifying of Pooh was done with love and care.

I find curling to be absolutely riviting. In April 2017 Alexis and I went to see the bronze medal game of the men's championships in Edmonton.

I worked for Finesse Furnishings in Edmonton in 1993 and they shipped me off to Colorado for a month of training on a software system called Profit Systems. I absolutely fell in love with Colorado Springs. I spent two weeks with a co worker, then Myles flew down and joined me for the last two. He loved it as much as me. The Royal Gorge, Pikes Peak, the cog rail, Cripple Creek, the mountains so similiar yet so different to our Rockies. The people, even the tornadoes so reminded me of home in July.

Look September

I was the mean Mom and made Alexis wait till she was ten to get her ears pierced. She was ready for it, and it was a breeze.

Back in 2007 I took my Mom and my daughter to Alaska on a cruise. I loved the ocean, I especially loved the sunsets. Over the western sky they went on forever.

Do you remember as a kid climbing on the hay bales. Granted when I was little they were small rectangular bales that were stacked into impressive places to play. If we were not caught that is. I had to take my kids to the farm to learn what it was like when they were little. As things go they had a great time, until Austin fell between the rows. But his big sister comforted him after she rescued him.
