Mystery of the "duck" napping solved
A bout a month ago I posted about these little ducks being "duck"napped out of our local Bower Ponds. Apparantly the story was in the paper solving the crime last night. The ducklings had originally been orphaned. A local rescue centre had taken them in. Looked after them and then turned them loose at the ponds thinking that they could fend for themselves or that another mallard family would adopt them. But the little ducklings were not doing well, so the staff of the rescue centre re-caught them. SInce they were not in identifying clothing, it was reported as a crime. So the ducklings are still at the rescue centre and will be turned loose again when they are a little older.
